“CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION” CONCERT

Everyone is invited to attend the Christmas concert being performed by the New Song Praise Team on Saturday, December 12th at 5:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. The group has been hard at work since August to bring you this beautiful concert! Please plan to attend and invite family, friends and neighbors.

FAMILY NATIVITY PROJECT

The Gethsemane Youth Ministry (G.Y.M.) is hosting a family project, devotional and “snack luck” on Saturday, December 19th from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the church basement. We will make clay pot nativity sets. Please bring $15 for the cost of the project materials and a snack to share. Please RSVP by Sunday, December 13th on the sign up sheet or call Terry Woehrle at 303-472-5144 or Jane Mynard at 303-451-1226 and leave a message.

BARNES & NOBLE LIBRARY FUNDRAISER

Do some of your Christmas shopping and help out our school library at the same time! Barnes & Noble Booksellers at 120th and Washington is hosting a weekend book fair Friday, December 4th through Sunday, December 6th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. each day. No flyer is necessary; just tell the cashier that your purchase is for Gethsemane Lutheran School. The money earned will go toward the purchase of additional books from Barnes & Noble for the school library.

Rev. and Mrs. Carl Kaye, Thailand
Rev. Carl and Grace Kaye serve as LCMS Missionaries in Thailand. Carl coordinates short-term mission service opportunities and projects in Thailand with LCMS churches. He also works with GEO missionaries serving in Thailand. The Kayes develop and explore new mission opportunities and facilitate cooperation with registered service organizations of the LCMS, non-governmental organizations, and partner churches in Southeast Asia. The couple has one son, Nathanael, seven years old.

Please pray for the Kayes as they share the light of Christ with the people of Thailand.
