We are partnering with Olan Mills to do a new pictorial directory this Fall. Photos will be taken on Sept. 3rd and 4th and Oct. 8th and 9th from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Appointment sign up sheets are now available in the church narthex or you can schedule your appointment on-line by going to: www.signup.olanmills.com

We want pictures of church AND school families for a combined Gethsemane directory!!! The more families that we have participate, the better!

Everyone who has their picture taken will receive a FREE 8x10 photo and a FREE directory.

Ice Cream Social

When: Sunday, August 17th at 6:00 p.m.

Where: The park west of Gethsemane's parking lot

Who: All Gethsemane Church and School families are invited to attend this fun fellowship event! Bring a friend!

Bring your own lawn chair or blanket to sit on and join us for ice cream in the park.

 

School Registration for 08/09 K-8th grade school starts on Wednesday, August 20th.

Pre-school classes phase-in starts the week of August 25th.

We still have room in our three year old pre-school classes and in 2nd-8th grade. You can still register!

Call 303-451-6908 to set up a tour of our facility and to receive an information/ registration packet.

There is also a K-8 Welcome Back night on Monday, August 11th from 4-6 p.m. for families who are already registered. Come meet your teacher, see your classroom and learn more about our new "Teaching with Love and Logic" program.

Missionary of the month
John & Heidi Heisterkamp, Panama

Jon and Heidi serve the Lord as career Missionaries in Panama.
Jon is the regional business manager for Latin America and the Caribbean. This work includes budgeting, balancing filed budgets, visiting Missionaries serving in the region, insuring support for our Missionaries and reporting to LCMS World Mission offices in St. Louis.
Both Jon and Heidi are involved in the local Panamanian churches and enjoy helping with their projects. Heidi teaches 4th grade at an international school. Please pray for Jon and Heidi as they serve in Panama and throughout Latin America.
